As a contributing member of our agile platform development / API development team, you will have both the accountability and freedom to build GNB's next multimillion-pound product. You will have the exciting opportunity to advance our innovative and comprehensive tools and practices to improve deployment and testing. You will also have an integral role in planning processes, writing codes, triaging operational issues, and making our codebase more reliable, testable, and scalable.

Responsibilities

• Full SDLC events including the development of code, unit testing and debugging, and deployment

• Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to deliver solutions to complex issues

• Create detailed analysis and design documents as required

• Participate in code reviews and testing initiatives.

You should apply if you have

• Proven expertise in deploying challenging developmental tasks

• Strong written and verbal communication skills and demonstrated critical thinking

• 3 to 8 years experience in core PHP

• Strong work ethics

• Confident & professional attitude

• Hands-on experience in PHP based systems (PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, JQuery, regular expressions)

• Experience in creating web forms and user-generated data

• Deep understanding of web service architectures including HTTP, REST, and related technologies like JSON and XML

• API Programming

• Strong Database Architecture skills

• Knowledge of source code versioning (prefer Git), CI/CD tools, and testing

• Automation

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management is preferred
