Do you enjoy testing the limits of possibility? At GNB, our Agency Management Console (AMC) team progress and help build the future of Real Estate Management. We are seeking a new Web/PHP Developer to join our successful AMC team, based from our Chennai office, someone who can build, manage and support our various PHP app/web sites globally.

How can you make an impact?

Our sites are built on LAMP, using an Agile process, and you will be responsible for the analysis, development, implementation and support of our customer-led applications. Our new Web/PHP Developer will maintain existing apps/sites and communicate with different levels across our global business on the deployment of new apps/sites.

How you'll contribute

• Working closely with our global Sales and Marketing teams to analyze business needs and produce detailed requirements.

• Ensure code is delivered to the highest levels of quality, following appropriate QA/testing processes.

• Validate deliverables against requirements, ensuring that testing is completed and signed-off by business users.

• Meeting relevant security standards so that our customers are using secure and stable environments. 

• Working and helping to manage our vendors in the development of our apps/sites.

• Full SDLC events including development of code, unit testing and debugging and deployment

• Participate in code reviews and testing initiatives.

• Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams including dev-ops andinfrastructure.

You should apply if you have

• An obvious understanding and previous experience of developing and maintaining PHP apps/sites.

• Understanding of web service architectures including HTTP, REST and related technologies like JSON and XML

• Proficiency with PHP, PHP OOP, Web security, HTML 4&5, CSS, Ajax and Javascript.

• Version control, ideally GIT.

• An awareness of PCI compliance and data protection regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management is preferred
